A lovely day in the historical city of Stirling facilitating a stress management and resilience workshop for around 60 social workers and those involved in the day to day care of young people in the “Care system”.
Staf are the workers organisation that champions the rights of care experienced young people as they transition from leaving the care system in Scotland.
My session was split into two parts and focussed on stress psychoeducation followed by deep abdominal breathing exercise’s. The second session focussed on goal setting and looked at ways of getting behaviours to match intensions. We walked through then unpacked a self induced relaxation technique before we done a question and answer session to finish off the mornings training.
